Türkiye announces 26-man 2026 World Cup squad
Türkiye's national team has announced its final squad of 26 players for the 2026 World Cup, a tournament it returns to after a 24-year absence.
Young stars Arda Güler and Kenan Yıldız are expected to be the key figures in the team coached by Vincenzo Montella, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
The squad also includes well-known names such as Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Merih Demiral and Orkun Kökçü, while players such as Berke Özer and Ahmetcan Kaplan have been left out.
Türkiye will begin its World Cup campaign on June 14 against Australia, and will also face Paraguay and the United States in the group stage.
