Vllaznia claim 13th straight Albanian women's football title

Vllaznia secured their 13th consecutive championship in Albania, defeating Apolonia 2-0 in the final at the “Selman Stërmasi” stadium.

After the end of the match, there was held the medal and trophy presentation ceremony, CE Report quotes ATA.

Vice-President of the Albanian Football Association Lutfi Nuri and the member of the Albanian Football Association Executive Committee Anila Basha extended the medals and the cup to the champion team.

Due to Albania’s higher UEFA coefficient, the nation will send two teams to the UEFA Women’s Champions League: champions Vllaznia (Champions Path) and runners-up Apolonia (League Path).

Both sides will enter the competition directly in the second qualifying round.
