Albania to compete in six disciplines at Islamic Solidarity Games
Albania will be represented by 10 athletes at the Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Albanian athletes will compete in six disciplines at these Games: judo, karate, wrestling, weightlifting, table tennis, and taekwondo, CE Report quotes ATA.
Three days remain until the Opening Ceremony of the Islamic Solidarity Games, Riyadh 2025.
In judo, Erisa Brahimaj will compete; in karate — Orges Arifi and Melos Gashi. The wrestling champions Zelimkhan Abakarov, Islam Dudaev, and Chermen Valiev will also take part.
Additionally, weightlifters Enkileda Carja and Ertjan Kofsha will represent Albania, along with Kejdi Kalaja in table tennis and Ernest Merdanaj in taekwondo.
The Islamic Solidarity Games will be held from November 7 to 21 in Riyadh. These Games are organized every four years to promote cooperation and athletic competition among member states.
