Albania comeback secures win vs Jordan

Prime Minister Edi Rama congratulated the Albanian national team for their 4-2 victory over Jordan in the match held this evening at the “Air Albania” stadium in Tirana.

In a social media post, Rama shared highlights of the goals scored by the national team during the match, CE Report quotes ATA.

“Friendly or not, this Albania brings joy,” Rama wrote.

In the 27th minute, Jordan scored through Al Rashdan, who capitalized in the box and headed the ball accurately into the net. Despite conceding, Albania responded immediately. The equalizer came in the 40th minute following a run from Bajrami down the left, with his pass deflected into the net by Abualnadi.

In the 64th minute, Albania took the lead with Armando Broja, who was perfectly assisted by Asllani and sent the ball into the net. In the 75th minute, Arbër Hoxha scored a spectacular goal, beating the goalkeeper with a brilliant strike. The fourth goal came in the 79th minute from Nedim Bajrami, who received a precise pass from Broja and finished beautifully. Jordan narrowed the score in the 90th minute with a goal from Ali Olwan.
