The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) has strongly reacted following the Serbia – Albania match, condemning the coordinated chants against Kosovo and the provocative banners displayed in the stands of the Leskovac stadium, where a Serbian flag was seen over a map of Kosovo, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

In its statement, the FFK emphasized that these scenes are recurring in Serbian stadiums and constitute incitement to hatred and offensive messages toward neighboring countries, without sufficient punishment from the relevant authorities.

“Such actions go against the spirit of sports, the principles of respect, and the values that UEFA and FIFA represent,” said the FFK statement.

The federation announced that it will submit an official protest note to UEFA, calling for clear and strict measures to be taken against the Football Federation of Serbia for repeated actions that damage the image of football and violate the principles of international organizations.

At the end of its reaction, FFK congratulated the Albanian National Team for their deserved 1–0 victory over Serbia, calling it a win that “reflects the character, dedication, and strength of Albanian football.”

“The Football Federation of Kosovo will continue to uphold with dignity the values of sport, respect, and equality among peoples, insisting that every football field in Europe should be a place for the game — not for hatred,” the statement concluded.
