Christian Eriksen returns to Denmark squad for World Cup Qualifiers
Christian Eriksen, together with Gustav Isaksen, returns to the Danish national team for the upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Greece and Belarus, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
Eriksen was not selected for the last squad when he was without a club, but since then, he has secured his immediate future with a new contract at Wolfsburg.
Also worth mentioning is that Gustav Isaksen and Christian Nørgaard are back in the team after missing the matches against Scotland and Greece due to mononucleosis and an injury, respectively.
Mads Roerslev and Jonas Wind are also back in the squad.
Recently, Victor Jensen from Utrecht was called up for the first time but has since suffered a serious knee injury, keeping him out.
William Osula and Jacob Bruun Larsen were added to the squad last time, but neither has been selected this time. Albert Gronbaek also did not make the squad this time.
Andreas Skov Olsen and Kasper Dolberg were selected in the last two squads but are out now due to injuries.
