Juventus ex-chiefs convicted in capital gains probe

The Rome judge (GUP) has approved plea bargains for former Juventus top officials involved in the 'Prisma' investigation concerning alleged capital gains manipulation in player transfers, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The plea deals, with suspended sentences ranging from 11 months to 1 year and 8 months, involve among others Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved, and Fabio Paratici.

Maurizio Arrivabene, another former Juventus executive, was dismissed from the proceedings.

The charges include insider trading (aggiotaggio), obstruction of supervision, and false invoicing.

Specifically, Judge Anna Maria Gavoni approved:

1 year and 8 months for Agnelli,

1 year and 2 months for Nedved,

1 year and 6 months for Paratici,

11 months for two other defendants.

Additionally, Juventus was fined 156,000 euros.

Around one-third of the over 200 civil parties involved have reached a compensation agreement totaling 1.08 million euros.
