
Croatian swimming star claims silver at World Para Swimming Championships
Croatia's top para-swimmer Dino Sinovčić won the silver medal in the 100-metre backstroke S6 category at the World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore, marking his fourth consecutive medal at the world championships.
Sinovčić previously won two golds, at the World Championships in London in 2019, and the World Championships in Funchal, Madeira, in 2022, as well as a silver at the last World Championships in Manchester in 2023, CE Report quotes HINA.
In the final, Sinovčić finished in 1:15.88, winning silver behind current Olympic champion and defending World Champion Hoing Yang of China, who posted a time of 1:14.94. The bronze medal went to Italy's Antonio Fantin, who finished in 1:16.07.
