Albania's KFF Vllaznia advance to 2nd round of UEFA Women’s Europa Cup

Vllaznia women’s team (Albania) continues its European journey by securing qualification to the second round of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.

The team from Shkodër defeated the Ukrainian side Kolos Kovalivka 2-0 in a match played at the “Loro Boriçi” stadium, once again confirming their strength on the European stage, CE Report quotes ATA.

The goals for Vllaznia were scored by Megi Doçi in the 63rd minute and Teresa Deda in the 87th minute.

The Shkodër team triumphed in both matches of the first round and now awaits to learn their next opponent in the draw, which will take place on Friday.

The match Kolos Kovalivka – Vllaznia was supposed to be played in Ukraine, but due to the situation in the country, matches for European competitions are being held abroad. Both teams agreed that the return match would also be played at the “Loro Boriçi” stadium.

On the other hand, Partizani women’s team lost 3-0 to Spartak Subotica, ending their European adventure.
