Italy’s Giulio Pellizzari wins Vuelta Stage 17
Italy's Giulio Pellizzari claimed victory in the 17th stage of the Vuelta a España, covering 143.2 kilometers from O Barco de Valdeorras to Alto de El Morredero.
The 22-year-old cyclist delivered an impressive performance on the challenging climb, CE Report quotes ANSA.
He crossed the finish line 16 seconds ahead of Britain’s Tom Pidcock and 18 seconds clear of Australia’s Jai Hindley.
With this triumph, Pellizzari became the youngest stage winner at the Vuelta since Tadej Pogacar in 2019.
