Real Madrid to replace Toni Kroos with world-class midfield star

After the signings of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Carreras, Huijsen and Mastantuono, Real Madrid are considered complete, barring any possible departures such as Alaba or Rodrygo, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Now the main focus is on finding a midfielder who can replace Toni Kroos, the team's conductor.

The Madrid club has the financial capacity to make another big move this summer, especially if Rodrygo is sold, for whom an expected €80-100 million offer is expected. However, there are no alternatives on the market with enough prestige to take the starting spot at the Bernabéu.

On Real's list are names like Barella (Inter), Enzo Fernández (Chelsea) and Mac Allister (Liverpool), but all three are essential to their teams and have long-term contracts, making their transfer very difficult.

Meanwhile, Manchester City's Rodrigo is back on the scene. The 29-year-old Spaniard returned at the end of the season after a serious knee injury that kept him out for nine months. Madrid are monitoring his situation closely, especially given that his contract expires in 2027 and has yet to be renewed.

If this remains the case until next summer, City may be forced to sell him to avoid a free transfer at the end of his contract. Real Madrid consider Rodrigo a serious option to strengthen their midfield.
