Vlora girls, Elbasan boys reign in Volleyball Championship

The girls' volleyball team from the Vlora district and the boys' team from the Elbasan district triumphed over Kukës in the third edition of the Inter-District School Sports Teams Championship held in Albania, CE Report quotes ATA.

The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, stated today that “the volleyball finals for high schools marked the end of the 3rd edition of the Inter-District School Sports Teams Championship.”

Manastirliu also congratulated all participants in this third edition of School Sports Teams, noting that over 12,000 students across the country are now part of the program, which will soon expand into other sports disciplines.

The School Sports Teams Championship is a collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Sports (MAS) and the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), which has successfully revived the spirit of sports among young people.

More than 12,000 children, 800 basketball and volleyball teams for boys and girls, and over 400 physical education teachers are currently involved in the school sports teams program.
