As part of the organization of the UEFA U-17 European Championship in Albania, a meeting was held at the premises of the “House of Football” between the heads of the State Police services of the cities of Tirana, Durrës, Kavajë, and Elbasan, as well as representatives of the Border Police at the “Mother Teresa” International Airport in Rinas, CE Report quotes ATA.

The purpose of this meeting was to provide information about the UEFA EURO 2025 event for the U-17 age group, which will take place from May 19 to June 1, in the stadiums “Air Albania Stadium,” “Niko Dovana,” “Elbasan Arena,” and “Arena Egnatia.”

Participants also discussed the coordination and implementation of security measures for this important event, starting from the arrival of participating teams at the airport, security measures at the hotels where they will be accommodated, and the measures before, during, and after the matches in all stadiums.

During the meeting, discussions were also held on the points of contact for each stadium, the teams' and matches' agendas, as well as the need for case-by-case information exchange.

Strengthening cooperation and coordination between the State Police and the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), as well as with other actors involved in the organization of this event in Albania, will ensure that UEFA EURO 2025 U17 is successfully organized, following the success of the 2022 UEFA Conference League final.
