Romania to Host Cyclo-Cross Youth Euros in 2026 and 2027

Romania will host the Cyclo-Cross Youth European Championships in 2026 and 2027, announced the Romanian Cycling Federation (FRC) on Wednesday. The event will take place in Vatra Dornei, following approval from the European Cycling Union (UEC), CE Report quotes Agerpres

Building on the success of the 2024 European Mountain Bike Championships, Romania continues to strengthen its reputation as a hub for international cycling events. The competition, aimed at athletes aged 13 to 16, will help promote cycling among young people.

FRC President Catalin Sprinceana expressed pride in hosting the prestigious event and thanked UEC President Enrico Della Casa for his trust. The event is organized in collaboration with the ‘A Pedal Forward’ Sports Club and the National Agency for Sports.
