Romanian players scored a series of victories on Thursday at the European Under-21 Table Tennis Championships in Skopje, North Macedonia, according to the website of the Romanian Table Tennis Federation. CE Report quoting Agerpres

In men's singles, in Group A, Eduard Ionescu defeated Dutchman Kas van Oost 4-2 (6-11, 10-12, 11-6, 11-8, 11-7, 11-2) and Swede William Bergenblock 4-1 (11-7, 11-9, 7-11, 11-7, 11-3).

In Group D, Andrei Istrate won the matches against German Tom Schweiger, 4-0 (11-2, 11-9, 11-9, 11-5), and Polish Mateusz Zalewski, 4-1 (5-11, 11-7, 11-9, 11-5, 11-8).
