US Vice President becomes father of four

U.S. Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, announced on Sunday the birth of their fourth child, a baby boy, Reuters and dpa reported.

Alec Neel Vance was born on Sunday at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, JD Vance wrote on X, thanking the military doctors for everything they had done for his family, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.

"Usha and the baby are both happy and healthy, and our kids are incredibly excited to meet their new little brother," he added.

JD Vance, who is from the state of Ohio, and Usha, the daughter of Indian immigrants, met while studying at Yale Law School, where they both graduated in 2013. They married the following year.

The couple announced in January that they were expecting their fourth child.

Their first son, Ewan, was born in 2017, followed by their second son, Vivek, in 2020. Their daughter, Mirabel, was born in 2021.
