Zelensky approves new combat operations, receives SSU report
President Volodymyr Zelensky received a report from the acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), Yevhenii Khmara, and approved new combat operations.
Zelensky stated this on his Telegram channel, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.
"A report by Yevhenii Khmara. As always, the Security Service of Ukraine is active in protecting our state and our people. I approved new combat operations," the message said.
He also noted that internal transformation of the special service is ongoing to strengthen the state.
Additionally, Zelensky heard a report from former SSU head Vasyl Maliuk on the preparation of asymmetric operations against Russia.
"A report by Vasyl Maliuk. We are continuing preparations for our asymmetric operations against Russia. All necessary resources of the Security Service of Ukraine and other state structures have been fully provided," the report stated.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky and Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov approved the appointment of a new Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, who will be responsible for the short-range air defense system.
