Albania to host “Our Pathway to the EU” Summit

Albania will host today at the Palace of Brigades the Summit on the Growth Plan “Our Pathway to the EU,” an important event expected to gather leaders of the Western Balkans together with the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.

The meeting will focus on the Growth Plan, economic integration, and bringing the region closer to the European Union Single Market, CE Report quotes ATA.

During the summit, discussions will address how Western Balkan countries can benefit from new EU initiatives, increase economic alignment, and advance reforms that accelerate the EU accession process.

According to the announced agenda, the summit will begin at 09:30 with a welcome session and statements to the media.

At 10:00, the working sessions are scheduled to start, opened by remarks from Prime Minister Edi Rama and Commissioner Marta Kos.

Around 11:30, a family photo of the participating leaders will take place, followed immediately at 11:35 by a joint press conference with Prime Minister Rama and Commissioner Kos.

The summit is expected to deliver important messages on the implementation of the Growth Plan and joint steps of the regional countries toward faster integration into the EU market and institutions.
