
Dan to Visit Austria for Bilateral, Economic Talks
Romanian President Nicușor Dan will visit Salzburg, Austria, on July 25–26 at the invitation of Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, CE Report quotes AGERPRES
During the visit, Dan will meet Chancellor Christian Stocker and deliver a speech at the Salzburg 2025 summit. He will also attend the Salzburg Festival as Van der Bellen's guest of honour.
The visit aims to strengthen political and economic ties, with a focus on boosting mutual investment. Austria is one of Romania’s key investors, especially in energy, banking, infrastructure, and agriculture.
Dan will also address topics such as cooperation in home affairs, education, culture, and the well-integrated Romanian community in Austria.
Regional and EU matters will feature on the agenda, including the Danube Strategy, post-2027 EU budget talks, migration, and EU enlargement involving the Western Balkans, Moldova, and Ukraine.
