Moldovan President meets Dutch leaders
President of Moldova Maia Sandu arrived today in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, where she was welcomed by Prime Minister Rob Jetten during an official ceremony, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
During the visit, Maia Sandu will hold talks with Prime Minister Rob Jetten and Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen.
On Thursday, May 21, at the invitation of Czech President Petr Pavel, the Moldovan president will attend the GLOBSEC Forum in Prague, one of the most important international platforms dedicated to security and foreign policy.
On the sidelines of the event, Maia Sandu will hold a bilateral meeting with the Czech president and deliver a speech about Moldova’s experience in protecting democracy and countering foreign interference.
Yesterday, the president visited the European Parliament, where she met with Roberta Metsola.
At the same time, Maia Sandu was awarded the European Order of Merit during a ceremony held at the European Parliament. The distinction is granted to individuals who have made significant contributions to promoting European values and strengthening the European project.
