The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Moldova has asked the Ministry of Justice to restrict the activities of the Socialist Party of Moldova and the Force of Alternative and Rescue Party, and to dissolve the Conservative Party and the CHANCE Party, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The decision comes after repeated violations of political financing laws. The Socialist Party submitted its report via postal mail, signed by an unconfirmed treasurer. CHANCE submitted its report late and improperly signed. The other two parties also failed to comply with financial regulations.

The CEC stated that these violations should be added to ongoing court cases concerning party conduct.

Out of 66 political groups, 58 submitted their first-half 2025 financial reports on time. The PACE party submitted late, while seven others failed to report at all.
