This is the message on the overwhelming power of big tech companies contained in the encyclical of Pope Leo XIV, CE Report quotes ANSA.

“States and supranational institutions are called upon to guarantee fair rules and effective protections,” so that everyone can contribute to “the decisions that affect people’s lives.”

“One cannot allow a few actors to single-handedly direct these processes,” Pope Leo warned, emphasizing the importance of “the common good.”
