Greece Launches Hospital Feedback Tool

Politics

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the launch of a new digital tool allowing citizens to evaluate their hospital experience via SMS. Speaking after a meeting at the Maximos Mansion, Mitsotakis said, “From today, the voice of the citizen becomes stronger on health issues.”

The system, introduced by the Ministry of Health, sends anonymous questionnaires to patients discharged from public hospitals (excluding psychiatric, pediatric, and oncology facilities for now). Mitsotakis emphasized that direct patient feedback is crucial for improving the National Health System, beyond official data or administrative reports, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia

“Our goal is for patients themselves to help us improve,” he noted.
