Speaker Igor Grosu took part in the annual Civil Society Gala organized by the EU Delegation to Moldova, celebrating the contributions of NGOs to democracy and sustainable development, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

He presented the Gender Equality Promotion Prize to Motivation, an organization supporting women with disabilities for over 25 years. Grosu praised civil society's role in building a more inclusive and fair Moldova, stating, “Only together… will we build a fairer, more inclusive, and more prosperous Moldova.”

Other awarded organizations included:

  • Paideia (Florești) – Stronger Society Award

  • Pino (Molovata Nouă) – Stronger Economy Award

  • EcoContact – Sustainable Development & Green Energy Award

  • National Network of Local Youth Councils – Resilience to Disinformation Award

The event underscored the vital impact of NGOs in advancing equality, democracy, and resilience in Moldova.
