Moldova Invests Record 3.2 Billion Lei in Roads

Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced that Moldova will invest a record 3.2 billion lei this year to rehabilitate, reconstruct, and maintain roads and bridges — the largest budget allocation in the country's history. In recent years, Moldova has modernized 766 kilometers of roads, three times more than in the previous decade. Key projects include the R26 Bender-Căușeni-Cimișlia road, the Troița Nouă village bypass, the Porumbrei-Cimișlia sector, and the bridge at Pelinia.
