Greece Awaits Monastery Deal Signing

Greek government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis stated that Prime Minister Mitsotakis trusts the assurances made by Egypt’s President regarding the Greek Orthodox character of Saint Catherine’s Monastery on Mount Sinai. Marinakis expressed hope for the swift signing of the relevant agreement and said Greece does not anticipate any changes to the agreed terms, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
