Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi, alongside his Bulgarian counterpart Georg Georgiev, inaugurated the Angel Kanchev University of Ruse's new branch in Taraclia. Popșoi emphasized that this investment in education supports the youth's future, strengthens European identity, and fosters regional economic growth, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The branch provides students and faculty with EU-recognized diplomas, accredited programs, and modern infrastructure. Popșoi thanked Bulgaria for its support, including a €1 million investment in dormitory renovations, which ensures improved study conditions. Georg Georgiev is on an official visit to Moldova from May 24-25.
