Germany’s Ambassador Ends Mission in Moldova

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi met with outgoing German Ambassador Margret Maria Uebber to mark the conclusion of her diplomatic mission in Moldova, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Popșoi thanked Ambassador Uebber for Germany’s strong support of Moldova’s European aspirations and her role in deepening political dialogue and bilateral cooperation. He noted the significant progress in Moldovan-German relations during her tenure, including high-level visits from German leaders and Germany’s active role in the Moldova Partnership Platform.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised Uebber’s contributions to democratic reforms, modernization of public administration, local development, and support for vulnerable communities, as well as projects in security, transport, and energy.

Moldova and Germany established diplomatic ties in 1992 and maintain a broad framework of cooperation across various sectors.
