France Supports Expanded Sanctions on Russian Oil, Banks

"In a few minutes, I will meet with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham to discuss his sanctions package, which we want to build upon by adding European deterrent sanctions to this U.S. package with one goal: to convince Vladimir Putin to agree to a ceasefire and begin peace negotiations."

This was stated in Antalya by the French Minister for European Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The sanctions, he added, “will include measures on oil and financial institutions.”
