Albanian, Italian troops conduct joint training in Bulgaria

Albania's VIII Contingent of the Northern Infantry Regiment (RKV), deployed in Novo Selo, Bulgaria, as part of NATO’s Forward Land Forces (FLF) mission, conducted a joint exercise with the Italian side, covering combat shooting, close protection and night patrol operations.

Through the training, individual and collective capabilities were strengthened, increasing operational readiness and the implementation of common standards, CE Report informs via the Ministry of Defence of Albania's official Facebook page.

Cooperation with Italian personnel demonstrated the value and strength of the partnership with a friendly country and NATO ally, according to the Ministry.

"Together, for greater interoperability and the professional fulfilment of the mission," the statement reads.
