Xi on China-Russia relations
China and Russia are “important countries with significant influence” and “constructive forces for maintaining global strategic stability and improving global governance.”
President Xi Jinping, in an article published in Russian media ahead of his state visit to Moscow, emphasized that the bilateral ties “have a clear historical logic, strong internal momentum, and a profound civilizational heritage.”
“They are not directed against third parties, nor are they subject to third-party influence.”
The two sides “must jointly resist any attempt to interfere with or undermine their friendship and mutual trust,” according to the state broadcaster CCTV, CE Report quotes ANSA.
