Greece Launches Digital Service Rating System
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis chaired an inter-ministerial meeting on Tuesday to present a new digital evaluation system allowing nearly 5 million citizens and residents in Greece to rate public sector services, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
For the first time, users can assess around 45 services by completing a brief online questionnaire on axiologisi.ypes.gov.gr. The voluntary process takes just a few minutes and includes around 50 questions, rating services from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).
Services covered include social insurance (e-EFKA), taxation (AADE), transport, cleanliness, public lighting, road quality, parking, digital tools (like gov.gr and e-prescriptions), and more. Citizens can also submit suggestions for future digital services.
Participants will log in via their Taxisnet credentials to ensure one submission per person. Responses remain anonymous, collecting only age and region to enable targeted analysis by area and demographic.
Mitsotakis called the initiative a “tool of accountability,” aiming to identify weaknesses and guide improvements. Results will be published regularly with graphs and maps to ensure transparency. Health services are currently excluded, with a separate evaluation system to be introduced soon.
The survey will be repeated twice a year, in spring and autumn, to build a comprehensive database for continuous service enhancement.
