UK may recognize Palestine by September

The British government led by Keir Starmer is ready to bring forward to September its commitment to formally recognize the State of Palestine if Israel does not agree to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, CE Report quotes ANSA.

This emerged from an extraordinary cabinet meeting, called back from summer recess today to discuss a draft European plan outlined by the United Kingdom together with France and Germany.
