During the signing ceremony, Assistant Minister Šajinović expressed his gratitude to the United States for its continued assistance and support for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s defence institutions. He emphasized that the United States remains a key defence partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing significant support in strengthening the capabilities and readiness of the Armed Forces of BiH.

“I would particularly like to express my gratitude to the United States team for their dedicated work and commitment, as well as to colleagues from the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH, whose contributions were crucial in preparing this plan. This document provides a foundation for continuing friendly and partnership-based cooperation between the two countries,” Šajinović said.

The memorandum marks a continuation of the strategic partnership with one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most important international allies. It further reinforces the shared commitment to strengthening stability, interoperability and the capabilities of the Armed Forces of BiH in line with NATO standards and the country's Euro-Atlantic integration goals.
