Trump Posts Image of Himself as Pope on Social Media

Politics

A photomontage of Donald Trump dressed as the Pope was posted on the White House's social media accounts days before the start of the conclave - which is set to begin on May 7 - that will appoint the successor to Pope Francis, who died on April 21.

The same image was also shared by the American president on his Truth account, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The image depicts Trump with a mascot, with a uterus, a cross around his neck and in a blessing gesture.

The US president has joked several times recently that being the next Pope himself "would be his first choice."
