Moldovan Parliament to Review Key Laws and Projects

Moldova’s parliament will meet on April 10 at 11:00 for a plenary session, with several important issues on the agenda. Lawmakers will review seven draft laws in the first reading, addressing topics such as drinking water quality, passenger ship safety, cultural heritage protection, and public data reuse, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

In the second reading, discussions will focus on the electronic communications law and amendments to the Law on Vine and Wine. Additionally, parliament will declare the construction of the 400 kV Balti–Suceava power line, the modernization of the Balti power station, and the construction of a new 400 kV station as national utility works.

MPs will also consider tax and customs incentives for the Bîc River Rehabilitation and Flood Protection project in Chisinau and discuss the draft law on the Constitutional Court and VAT reimbursement for agricultural producers to support the sector.
