Trump Calls Zelenskyy a "Dictator Without Elections"

Former U.S. President Donald Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday, calling him a "Dictator without Elections" and accusing him of mismanaging the war with Russia, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

"Zelenskyy better move fast, or he won’t have a country left. We are successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia—something only 'TRUMP' and my administration can do," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He claimed that President Joe Biden and Europe had failed to bring peace and suggested Zelenskyy wanted to keep the "gravy train" of U.S. aid flowing. "I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job—his country is shattered, and millions have unnecessarily died," Trump added.

His remarks followed Zelenskyy’s statement that Trump was caught in a "space of disinformation" and expressed hope that his team would gain a clearer understanding of the war.

Trump also criticized the U.S. spending on Ukraine, claiming it had contributed $200 billion more than Europe while receiving nothing in return. He accused Biden of failing to negotiate equal contributions from European allies and alleged that half of U.S. funds sent to Ukraine were "missing."

Additionally, Trump asserted that Zelenskyy refused to hold elections and had low approval ratings in Ukraine.
