Court Greenlights Strategic Polish Port Project

Poland

A major port terminal project in Świnoujście, one of the largest in Poland’s maritime sector, has cleared a legal hurdle after the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw dismissed an environmental complaint on Monday. Though the ruling can still be appealed, it allows preparatory construction to begin as early as late Q3 2025, CE Report quotes PAP

The complaint, filed by German and Polish environmental groups, had previously suspended a February environmental approval. Deputy Infrastructure Minister Arkadiusz Marchewka welcomed the decision, saying opponents had tried to block the project at every step, but Poland remains committed to completing this strategic investment by 2029.
