Polish President warns Putin may invade other countries

Polish President Karol Nawrocki stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is prepared to carry out invasions of other countries, CE Report quotes MIA.

“We do not believe in Vladimir Putin’s good intentions. Certainly, while we hope for a long-term peace needed for our regions, we believe that Vladimir Putin is also prepared to invade other countries,” Nawrocki said during a joint press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

For this reason, he noted, Poland is developing its own armed forces, partnerships, and allied relations.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that in recent months he has been in regular contact with U.S. President Donald Trump, while European forces continue to advocate for an end to the war in Ukraine.

“We are trying to explain that Putin cannot be trusted, that Putin uses his usual delaying tactics,” Stubb said.
