Poland Unveils Tax-Free Investment Accounts
Poland's Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski has announced a new savings initiative — the Personal Investment Account (OKI) — allowing individuals to invest up to PLN 100,000 tax-free, CE Report quotes PAP
"This will help Polish households save and invest efficiently," Domanski said at a Tuesday press conference. The funds can be placed in deposits, stocks, bonds, or ETFs. However, tax-free deposits and Treasury bonds are limited to PLN 25,000 (approx. EUR 5,850).
Any assets above PLN 100,000 will be taxed at a low, stable rate of under 1%, the minister added.
