Sandu’s EU-Focused Visits to Poland and Italy

Moldovan President Maia Sandu will visit Poland and Italy in early July to advance Moldova’s European integration and strengthen bilateral relations, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

On July 8, Sandu will travel to Warsaw for meetings with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk, focusing on EU accession support and cooperation in politics, economy, and security. She will also speak at the annual Polish ambassadors’ conference and meet with the Moldovan diaspora.

From July 9–13, Sandu will be in Italy to meet President Sergio Mattarella and discuss economic ties and support for Moldovans living in Italy. While in Rome, she will attend the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference alongside Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
