
Moldova Deepens EU Ties
At the EU Speakers Conference in Budapest, Moldovan Speaker Igor Grosu emphasized the country's commitment to European integration, highlighting ongoing reforms and the importance of international support, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES
In meetings with counterparts from Denmark, Sweden, Slovakia, and Montenegro, Grosu discussed shared challenges and Moldova’s priorities in upcoming EU accession negotiations. He warned of attempts by criminal groups to influence the 2025 elections, stressing the need for strong institutions, judicial independence, and energy security.
“Despite the difficulties, we are determined to ensure peace, stability, and prosperity for all citizens,” Grosu stated, underlining the importance of continued cooperation with EU member states.
