Turkish College to Open in Comrat

A new Moldovan-Turkish vocational college will open in Comrat, Gagauzia, with capacity for 100–125 students annually. The institution is being established under a cooperation protocol signed by Moldova’s Education Minister Dan Perciun and Turkey’s Education Minister Yusuf Tekin, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Supported by the Turkish government, the college will be equipped with modern facilities, furniture, and labs, and a student dormitory will also be built. The school will offer programs in IT, electrical, and electronic technologies. Instruction will be primarily in Romanian, with some subjects potentially taught in Turkish or English. The college will operate as a public institution with budget-supported admission from Moldova’s Ministry of Education.
