Double murder in Rome: couple executed while returning home
At least six gunshots were fired late last night in Rome, killing a Chinese couple on Via Prenestina, near the Pigneto area, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The two 53-year-olds were returning home by bicycle when, just a few meters from the building where they lived, the attackers approached them on a motorcycle and opened fire.
The victims were shot in the back of the head.
The investigation is being carried out by the police. Officers from the 7th Forensics Section of the Investigative Unit and the Piazza Dante company were on the scene. At the moment, no leads are being ruled out — possibilities include a settling of scores or a robbery gone wrong.
