The Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton, Enis Hasanović, together with the Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality Sarajevo, Irfan Čengić, visited the Public Institution Health Center Stari Grad Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the visit, a new ambulance vehicle and valuable medical equipment provided by the municipality were officially handed over, CE Report informs via the Vlada Kantona Sarajevo's official Facebook account.

This visit confirms the importance of continuous cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton and the Stari Grad Municipality, with the aim of creating better working conditions for healthcare workers and ensuring higher-quality care for citizens.

The new ambulance vehicle was procured to enable more efficient field operations, especially in the specific conditions of Stari Grad, where narrow and steep streets require adapted vehicles for timely medical interventions.

In addition to the vehicle, the Health Center received significant medical equipment and consumable supplies necessary for the daily work of healthcare teams. The delivered equipment includes an ECG machine, wheelchairs for persons with disabilities, home-visit bags, medical instruments, as well as other items that directly contribute to improving the quality of care.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton expressed its gratitude to the Stari Grad Municipality for its support and joint efforts, emphasizing a shared mission—to make adequate healthcare accessible to all citizens.
