In the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European program Creative Europe was presented by the PRONI Center from Brčko.

This is the largest European Union program supporting the cultural, creative, and audiovisual sectors, as well as the field of journalism, CE Report quotes FENA.

As stated by Ana Bogdanović, Coordinator of the Creative Europe Desk for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the MEDIA sub-program has a total value of nearly 2.5 billion euros. Individual grants range from 20,000 to 30,000 euros, and can reach several million euros for large international projects.

Bogdanović noted that the program covers a wide range of activities and professions — from architects, journalists, and video game designers to organizers of cultural events and film festivals.

“The goal of the program is to strengthen cultural cooperation, encourage creativity, promote knowledge exchange, and support projects that contribute to the diversity of the European cultural space,” said Bogdanović.

The presentation in Brčko is part of a promotional cycle of activities organized in several cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representatives of the Creative Europe Desk invited institutions, organizations, and individuals from Brčko to learn more about open calls and apply for funding, emphasizing that Bosnia and Herzegovina has already had successful examples of participation in this program.
