Naomi Watts to receive Donostia Award at San Sebastian Film Festival

British actress and producer Naomi Watts will receive the Donostia Award at the San Sebastian Film Festival, which is celebrating its 74th edition this year and will take place from September 18 to 26, the EFE news agency reported Monday.

Naomi Watts will receive the award on September 19 during a gala followed by a screening of the film The Housewife, directed by Ben Shirinian, according to information published Monday on the festival’s website, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.

Organizers of the festival in the Spanish city announced Monday that the award would be presented to actress Naomi Watts. On August 7, it was announced that the first of this year’s Donostia Awards would go to director, screenwriter, producer and actor Werner Herzog.
