Coal Union advocates demand long-term solutions as major power plant shutdown looms

The Mining and Energy Workers' Trade Union (SDRES) on Monday rejected in the strongest terms a bill governing the winding down of the country's biggest coal-fired power station, TEŠ. The union urged sustainable, long-term solutions and social security for the Šalek Valley that is home to TEŠ and the adjacent coal mine, CE Report quotes STA.
