North Macedonian singer kidnapped in Belgrade

North Macedonian singer Daniel Kajmakoski was kidnapped in Belgrade.

Serbia’s Ministry of the Interior said that police are searching for two men suspected of kidnapping the North Macedonian singer Daniel Kajmakoski, adding that the singer — who was found with his hands tied — has been taken into care, CE Report informs.

According to reports, after a police chase, the vehicle in which two currently unidentified individuals had kidnapped D. K. (born 1983) at knifepoint and with a firearm was stopped in the municipality of Ruma.

The abducted man was found inside the vehicle with his hands tied, while the kidnappers managed to leave the vehicle and flee in an unknown direction.

The Ministry of the Interior also stated that the kidnapping took place in the morning hours in Belgrade and that the abductors were extorting money from the singer.
