Rihanna celebrates A$AP Rocky’s No.1 album
Rihanna is A$AP Rocky’s biggest supporter. The Grammy-winning star and businesswoman, 37, didn’t hesitate to share her excitement on social media, posting an enthusiastic message for the father of her children after the success of Rocky’s new album, Don’t Be Dumb, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
In her post on X (formerly Twitter), Rihanna wrote: “Just me here to let you know that the father of my kids has the NO. 1 ALBUM!!! Aaahhhhhh hah! DONT BE DUMB!!!”
According to Billboard, the album debuted at the top spot after earning 123,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week.
This is Rocky’s first new album since Testing in 2018 and features collaborations with artists including Brent Faiyaz, BossMan Dlow, Sauce Walka, Slay Squad, Gorillaz, Westside Gunn, Doechii, will.i.am, Jessica Pratt, Tyler, the Creator, Jozzy, Tokischa, Imogen Heap, and Clams Casino.
Rocky will launch the Don’t Be Dumb Tour this year, performing across North America from May through July, followed by European dates from August to September.
He also teased a deluxe version of the album during an interview on The Joe Budden Podcast.
Rihanna and Rocky confirmed their relationship in November 2020 and have three children: daughter Rocki Irish, four months old, and sons Riot, 2, and RZA, 3.
Rocky recently spoke about how the couple keeps their romance alive: “We have to go out, be friends, play cards… like I’m saying, we play Crazy Eights. I love that girl more than anything. We have to keep the magic alive, because if not, then what are we doing?”
